Wine Styles & Winemaking 101: Saturday, July 21st 1:00p.m. – 4:00 pm.
This class start with a tasting to explore some of the most popular wine styles and learn the difference between dry, sweet, off-dry and other tasting terminology. Wine structure and its importance in the winemaking process will be discussed including body, tannin, sweetness acidity and how they all play important parts in the finished wine. A wine must will be prepared and participants will learn how to measure and adjust pH, acid, potential alcohol and yeast selection for the desired result. Class limited to 12 students. Fee $20.00
